Little Paper Planes is pleased to introduce our second June 2012 artist, Carey Lin, and to offer six exclusive prints of her work.
San Francisco artist and curator Carey Lin interrogates the practice of painting, continually asking herself how and why such an old and laborious process of making images can continue to be relevant. Such an inquiry seems in danger of becoming self-reflexive, but Lin balances it with a keen sense of ridiculousness, allowing viewers to understand the sense of play behind her work.
These prints are 8.5 x 11" and are offered individually. They are printed with Epson Ultra Chrome archival inks on Hahnemuhle German etching paper. The sizes reflect actual paper size, not image size. Each print is hand numbered, in an edition of 50, along with Carey’s signature all on the back of each print. Each print also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity printed on the back as well. This print is exclusive to Little Paper Planes.
