I collect driftwood along the shores of Lake Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada.
This piece of bark had already a wonderful shape when I found it. It just needed little help of my saw and some sanding to make it into this beautiful rustic heart. I baked it briefly in the oven to sterilize it.
On my hikes I collect all sorts of moss and lichen. I chose this dried ponderosa pine lichen for nice contrast with a dark color of the bark. The color is a nice yellow green.
