Framed Canvas Giclee Print
Image Size: 21 x 15.2"
Framed Size: 26 x 20"
The works of western American artist, Minerva Teichert, have received increasingly popular and critical acclaim in recent years. From her modest home in Wyoming, Teichert produced a prolific number of paintings that celebrate the saga of western settlement and the heritage of her Mormon faith. Today, Teichert is beloved among the LDS community as a woman who successfully combined faith and family and left an extraordinary legacy of artistic production. In this painting, Teichert depicts angelic ministrations to children during the Savior's visit at the temple. While contemporary readers likely interpret 3 Nephi's discussion of angelic ministration with priesthood blessings, Teichert transforms this scene into a literal feast.
