Blown glass striped perfume bottle. Colored glass canes are picked up and shaped into a ball then clear glass is gathered over the ball. After cooling the piece is ground and given two parallel facets using 6 separate grinding and polishing steps, finishing with an optical polish. The bottle stopper is hand ground into the body of the piece and mimics the colors in the bottle. Precision striping and attention to detail are hallmarks of Paul Harrie's work.
