Belly-Baring Wedding Gowns: Let's Discuss
A little help here? We know the traditional wedding dress style changes with the times and attempts to stay recent. In the 80's it was huge puffy sleeves that overwhelmed the bride. And good luck squeezing into your grandmother's 1950's wedding dress, seriously how were women THAT small? But after binge watching "Say Yes to the Dress", we know that most brides tend to go for a classic princess look or at the very least a mermaid style. So we're a bit perplexed by the latest trend in nuptial fashion: crop tops. Our reasons for confusion are three-fold.
1) Crop tops just aren't comfortable or attractive unless your stomach is completely flat and taught. They really only work for one body shape.
2) Are we the only ones pre planning for the cake and champagne we'll be having at our weddings? No food babies for the bride who bares her midriff.
3) It's just unnecessary to show that much skin, or specifically that skin on your wedding day. It's just too much.
