Never Wonder What Cheap Sheets Are The Softest EVER Again
When we heard about the bamboo fiber sheets that were supposedly softer than Egyptian cotton and under $50, we had to try them. It seems too good to be true, but these Super-Soft 1800 Series Bamboo Fiber Bed Sheets are the best soft, cheap sheets that are not too good to be true. Seriously, my husband (without prompting) said “these are the softest sheets ever”. I couldn’t make this up.
Get them from OpenSky starting at $42.84.
So to begin, if you’re like me, you might be like “what is bamboo cotton and why would I want to sleep on it?!”. Well, to start it's made of bamboo (duh). It's also a very green choice because bamboo only takes a third of the water cotton does and doesn’t need pesticides. Sounds like a win. Plus, people often describe it as feeling like cashmere. Make that a major win.
Back to the sheets themselves. We told you they’re the softest, cheapest sheets ever. At OpenSky they range in price from $42.84 to $57.13...def not the price of cashmere. But as far as inexpensive soft sheets, these are pretty good. My only qualm is how thin they are. I washed them before putting them on my bed, and they're definitely on the thin side. Not a problem now, but I’m not sure how well these sheets (that are the softest in the world) are going to hold up long term. I’m not saying they won’t, but just a consideration.
Obviously, we don’t expect sheets under $50 to last forever. Not like if we were buying these $1,200 Frette Bicolore Sheets . Then, we’d expect to be buried with them. No joke.
On the plus side, bamboo also has antibacterial qualities, so if you’re guilty of not washing your pajamas like most of us, maybe these sheets can undo some of the damage. No seriously, if you want to be grossed out read just how bad it is not to wash your PJs often enough. Yuck.
I got the the Super-Soft 1800 Series Bamboo Fiber Bed Sheets in white, but they do come in a variety of colors so you do you and get the ones you love. They’re soft, cheap sheets, and definitely worth a try! Oh, and they’re already supes popular and always going out of stock. So if you’re lucky enough to catch them in stock, get them!!!
