Summer Beach Reads--Stock Up Now!
What's better than curling up with a good book under a blanket by a crackling fire? Slapping on some sunscreen and taking that book to the beach! Beach reads are an interesting bunch. You don't want something too heavy, but you want to be entertained and intrigued, too. These hilarious novels, wacky essays or insane memoirs we found will make you smile while you soak up some rays.
My fave this season is Judy Greer’s I Don’t Know Where You Know Me From: Confessions of a Co Star, detailing a life of acting in supporting roles and (kind of…sort of) getting recognized. She tells a great story of standing in line at a taco truck when a drunk woman began telling her “You look ugly on TV, but you look good in real life.” Judy explains, “I should have just walked away from her…but I really wanted some tacos.”
So grab a book, a towel, a bottle of water (you want to stay hydrated!) and head to the beach. What summer books are you excited about? Tweet them to @Keep and we'll add them to our collection!
