Vintage Cat Planter Rubens Originals Persian White and Blue Vase

Rubens Originals Japan, located in Los Angeles, was a family-owned business that produced ceramic items that were popular gifts for moms, secretaries and teachers during the late 1950s and early 1960s.

This appealing little white ceramic cat was hand-decorated with pink, sky blue, black and gold accents. It wears a tiny beret atop its luxurious long fur. The Rubens Originals Japan label is located on the bottom, numbered 630.
